Does anyone remember Journalism?

I'm going to post a quoted article from the Herald-Sun. Then I'm going to post the link to the very same article online, just so's you all know I'm not joking.

Here's mud in my eye

MY five-year-old daughter and her team had their first soccer game last weekend.

They didn't have any idea about what they were doing, simply hoping the ball would come to them.

If it did, they kicked it. At one stage, Talia, in her pink boardies, ran aimlessly around the field. Ronaldo, eat your heart out!

A typical junior fashion plate, she cared most about the outfit. She was not a fan of the long socks, but loved her boots - thoughtfully bought by her dad at last year's end-of-season sales.

Talia wants to be just like her adored big brother. After three years of freezing on the sidelines watching him play, it's her turn.

So, I'm looking forward to a winter of two Saturday soccer games and cleaning the mud off an additional pair of boots.

And the link.

Surely someone has got to be joking?

Melissa Doyle got PAID to write this article.

FMD!
