Melbourne Victory are the greatest A-League team EVA. I know that counts for little in a league that's only four seasons old, but hey - we're entitled to be a little excited.
Ernie Merrick's painfully calm demeanour, and dignity under pressure, is about as impressive a facade as I've ever seen in professional sport. He really is something special, and the sooner the bleaters get off his back the better off we will all be. I really think Uncle Ernie has the potential to be a lifelong manager of the Victory. In fact, I will be amazed if he doesn't last a full ten years at the helm.
Awesome win on Saturday night. I'm hoarse and raspy, but thoroughly exhilarated.
